Ya got a little one that likes Batman? Don't want to spend a lot of money on a costume that is only used once or twice? For about the same price as the costume, you might want to consider these. They come in sizes 12 -24 months or 3-4 T. At least with this purchase, they'll get a few months use before they are outgrown.
They are lightweight so they probably won't work for Halloween if you live in snow country, but will be fine for indoor trick or treat parties or warmer parts of the country.
The cape attaches with velcro so it can be taken off at bedtime. No strings or ties so, imho, safe for kids
