Make Money on Cash Crate Got a Real Check

This is a follow up. I got a real check from CashCrate yesterday so - IT'S REAL My first check was $20.75, not a lot but I didn't want to put extra time into it till I could confirm they pay. It took about 6 weeks to get the check. So, I say this company is A-OK, good way to make money at home while your watching tv or just surfing. If you like paid surveys, CashCrate has those too.

Made $20 finally

I had never been much into GPT, paid to read, paid to click, etc. I had done MyPoints over the years and got a few gift cards. I'd been reading some articles on eHow and decided to try CashCrate Also, saw a lady that posted some proof of payments so, what the heck! I wasn't able to put a lot of time into it, over a couple of weeks, just here and there, but I finally got over $20 so I should see a check next month. I will blog the results.

Times are tight, haven't had much mystery shopping, merchandising or paid surveys lately. I did get a check from Your2Cents Friday though. They're an oldie but a goodie - in otherwords, they are stable and they pay.

If you read this, don't forget to try ACOP Might be doing a product test soon.

The CashCrate and ACOP links are referrals so I do get credit for them. I will keep all posted on CashCrate, when I get their check, but it is free to join (just be sure you have a junk email, don't use your regular one.) ACOP has been around forever and I have received checks for referrals from them

PTR Advice for March 29

MyPoints is a stable company where you earn $/rewards in a "paid to read program" In this type of program, you are sent daily emails. Sometimes 1, sometimes up to 4 - it varies. In the email is a link, click it and it will bring up a web page and your account will be credited 5 points.

They also have small surveys and games as well as offering additional points if you register or buy from that web page. Don't worry cause I've been sent to pages from legit companies - Lancome, Ebay, Fox Entertainment, Office Depot. If you're not comfortable with the site, just leave it. I've never had a problem with anything I've clicked through via a MyPoints email.

They have some referral points available, you provide email addresses and they send your friend an email. They also have an affiliate program in conjunction with Commission Junction.

Rewards are in the form of gift cards. You have to get at least 1400 points which translates to 280 emails. That is just clicking. If you take advantage of other offers of course your points add up faster. I've received about $70 in gift cards - mostly Barnes Noble & Starbucks but they have tons to choose from.

Anyway, I recommend it, work taking a look-see

Make Money with Paid Surveys Tip for March 19

ACOP, American Consumer Opinion PanelA. They've been around for ages doing market research. The are part of Decision Analyst, Inc in Texas.

They pay promptly, pay to survey time ratio is realistic. They were actually my very first paid survey. Emails may come from Anne Parks.

There is also a separate technology survey division that you may be able to participate in.

Last, they have a good affiliate program. Pays .50 per validated sign up. It adds up surprisingly quick.

Bottom line, can't go wrong here, worth your time to sign up, click here

Mystery Shopping Tip for March 15, 2009

Kern Scheduling Services - I get a lot of emails from Kern Scheduling Services. They put mystery shoppers in touch with various jobs. They also use the SASSIE system. You need to have a Paypal account.

They display the MSPA logo (Mystery Shopping Providers Association) Currently I see they have eyeglass shops available. When I did an eyeglass shop, I had to go twice, once for the exam & once to pick up the glasses but was paid well. I see this is one of the rare ones where you can take a child if your child wears corrective lens. It looks like they are working in conjunction with Beyond Hello, another legit company that I have received payment from.

Make Money with Paid Surveys Tip for March 8

I just renewed my account with a REALLY good paid survey outfit, Survey Savvy. I joined Survey Savvy a number of years ago when I was heavy into researching & using paid survey sites. I only dropped out for awhile because my day job was too hectic & my online stores were doing quite well.

That's no longer the case. I do still make money selling on Amazon but not near as much. The paid survey route remains one of the simplest ways to make money at home. My total earnings from Survey Savvy were $448. Pretty good for an occasional 20-30 min survey. That total also includes referrals. Referrals do need to take surveys for you to get $$, not just sign up

When I originally started doing Survey Savvy, the surveys were mostly tech-oriented, lots of telecommunications. It looks like they have expanded & have more opportunities for general consumer surveys, as shown in the August 2008 issue of Seventeen magazine.

Survey Savvy has been around since 1999. Part of Luth Research which has been around since 1977. Bottom line is they are honest. They are pretty good about estimating the time a survey will and paying a respectable amount. Definitely worth signing up

Mystery Shopping Tip for Feburary 20, 2009

National Services Group out of Ohio They've been around over 25 years. They pay by check, not paypal. They do compliance work (i.e. making sure the store asks for id when selling liquor).

At the moment, they've got some great casual dinning restaurant shops right now. Looks like mostly Midwest, Southeast and East Coast. They use the SASSIE sytem.

Make Money with Paid Surveys Tip for Feb 19

You need to check out one of my all time, favorite survey companies - Viewpoint Forum They've been very consistent about fair payment vs survey time. The qualifying surveys only take a couple minutes. Payout is at $10 and the check usually arrives in a couple weeks

I've done several surveys where I was sent household products (i.e. all purpose cleaner, laundry soap). Two week supply, then just do a 10-15 minute survey at the end of two weeks. Can't say enough good things about this company.

If you do get to do samples, be sure you keep all the paperwork and instructions. They may contain a reference number needed for the survey.

A fun item they do is take ideas for quick polls on their homepage from users. The user is awarded points towards the payout.

1) Check out Viewpoint.

Make Money Mystery Shopping Tip of the Day

IntelliShop, based out of Ohio. Uses SASSIE login & job board application. You need a paypal account to be paid. Variety of mystery shops. I was just offered a quick one for a major fast food chain. Not close enough for me to make it worthwhile gas-wise, but a good opportunity for someone in the area. Also offered luxury car shops You do have to prove yourself to get some of the shops. You are rated based on performance. In otherwords, you do a good job on the easier ones, you have a better shot at the more involved ones.

The company was featured on Good Morning America

This company is legit. Remeber, mystery shopping may or may not have shops in your local area depending upon the client & the size of your town. Never pay to do a mysterday. I mean, don't pay for a list or to get started. A legitimate company may ask you to make a purchase at the store you are shopping for which you are reimbursed (or allowed to return). Always keep receipts, business cards and copies of your report so you can keep track of payments due to you.

Make Money with Paid Surveys

Another LEGITIMATE survey company that DOES PAY. The Socratic Forum. The word Socratic will ring a bell with anyone who's gone to law school or been a fan of the movie Paper Chase. The Socratic method of teaching - "The Socratic method of reasoning and instruction was by a series of questions leading the one to whom they were addressed to perceive and admit what was true or false in doctrine, or right or wrong in conduct."

Many of their surveys are "techy" subjects but I received one recently about vacations. Surveys range from 5 -30 minutes. 5 minutes are usually for qualifying. Their emails give you an approximate length of the survey & how much you will be paid. If you don't qualify, there is usually a drawing you are entered into. You can request payment after you have earned $5 in rewards. A confirming email is sent when you request your check. They pay in about a month of your request.

Remember, don't ever pay to find paying surveys. Always keep track of your surveys & requests for payments.
